To further the Impact’s capability with slugs and other heavy projectiles, FX Airguns is pleased to announce the FX Impact Slug Power Kit. This straightforward kit adds key modifications to maximize the Impact’s power and accuracy potential, especially when using slugs.
Velocity gains come largely from a tungsten hammer weight that replaces the factory hammer, increasing hammer mass and allowing more compression of the hammer spring. Working in concert with this heavier hammer is a lighter valve‑return spring that keeps the valve open slightly longer, allowing more air to pass and better propelling heavier projectiles such as airgun slugs.
The kit also includes an adjustable pin probe that is seating‑depth adjustable for your projectile (which aids accuracy). The probe’s design also increases airflow to the projectile. The kit ships with a .22‑caliber pin probe and two sleeves that convert it to .25‑ or .30‑caliber.
