The Thermion 2 is powered by both internal and external rechargeable batteries for extended operational time. Included replaceable batteries with 2 A·h and 3.2 A·h capacities allow up to 10 hours of continuous use. Embossed markings on the batteries enable confident replacements by touch alone, even in complete darkness.

The Thermion 2 60mm Kit includes a durable 30mm QD Recon Mount from American Defense Manufacturing. This cantilever-style mount is compatible with scopes featuring objective lenses up to 56mm and ensures optimal eye relief with its forward-positioning design. Constructed from tough 6061 T6 aluminum and finished with a T3 Mil-Spec anodized coating, the mount is built to withstand harsh conditions. Its height also allows for additional accessories, such as lasers or lights, to be mounted without sacrificing functionality or performance.
