Safran Vectronix Terrapin X Rangefinder

The Terrapin X Rangefinder from Safran Vectronix has rangefinding abilities up to a max of 3,280 yards - approximately 1.86 miles! It remains highly accurate at distances past 2,000 meters with a deviation of only ± 5 meters (5.46 yards).

While measuring small targets reliably can be a challenge for most laser rangefinders, the Terrapin X excels at this thanks to its small beam divergence of 1.2 x 5 mrad. The internal sensors measure slope and azimuth to calculate the equivalent horizontal range to a target. That means that even at extreme distances and uneven terrain, you can feel secure in taking the shot! The scan mode of the Terrapin X delivers a newe measurement result every half second - an ideal feature for measuring multiple targets one after the other.

The Bluetooth connectivity system is industry-leading - there is no other rangefinder on the market that connects to more compatible ballistic apps and third party devices than the Terrapin X. The precision optics on this rangefinder offer 8x magnification for extreme range measurements with perfect color correction and max contrast. The 28mm objective lens diameter allows the Terrapin X to gather more light than most any other compact rangefinder in its class, promising crisp, bright images even in twilight conditions.

You can count on reliability and durability - the housing of the Terrapin X is made from Ryton®, which is a material designed to sturdily hold electronic components and protect them from the elements and extreme temperatures. The whole outer shell of the rangefinder is covered with a thick, grippy, shock resistant rubber armoring. Extra protection for the laser, battery and objective lens is ensured by deeply recessing the components into the body of the Terrapin X. It is IP 67 certified, therefore guaranteed protection from water up to a depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes.
